Three years ago my husband Terry and I were living the trilogy of failure. I was fat, frumpy and frazzled and most every thing we had was dead, dying or broken we were deeply in debt. I weighed 267 pounds and was really despondent because I had outgrown my fat clothes. One morning while standing in our closet looking for something that would fit, I had a total melt-down I was down to my last two outfits and cried out, “Somebody, anybody, make me thinner!”

Talk about Providence! That Sunday a man from our church told us about a program that helped him to lose 35 pounds in a very short period of time. One shake at a time, with the Take Shape for Life Program and Medifast products, Terry lost 60 pounds and I got rid of my flabber I lost 135 pounds. I may be half the woman I used to be but lemme tell ya, I am twice the wife! I’m the only grandmother in our neighborhood that wears red leather pants.

As I lost weight, I began to feel so much better about myself and I began to tell other people about the Take Shape for Life Program. We have so much fun helping other people, that Terry retired from the ministry and I quit my job at a local college. That’s right, we no longer have jobs we have a life!

God has given us the gift of life and unfortunately it comes with an expiration code. My husband Terry and I feel like Take Shape for Life has extended our freshness code! We’re living the trilogy of health Take Shape gave us the nutritional intervention we needed to improve our physical health. Emotionally and mentally I am in an awesome place and Take Shape has proven to be the fi nancial intervention we needed, too.

We get to travel and tool around town in our brother’s red Lotus that he bought with the money he earned as an Executive Director for Take Shape for Life. This is a family affair as our daughter and son-in-law and our best friends are also part of our team of Executive Director Health Advisors! I even get to do a little shopping our room-sized closet is fi lled with “thinny” clothes.

We live well, we laugh often and we love much because of Dr. Wayne Scott Andersen’s vision and mission for sharing the prescription for life with a nutritionally bankrupt world. Wouldn’t you like to Take Shape and join us on the journey?

My husband, Vannoy and I began our journey with the Take Shape for Life program about two years ago in January 2004. After experiencing the benefi ts of using the product, we realized that we had something unique and benefi cial for everyone. My husband encouraged me to sign up as a Health Advisor shortly after trying the product.

We began telling others and signing clients on the program. After being a Health Advisor for a couple of months we decided to take our business to another level and went Executive. We later saw the need to encourage many of our clients to convert over to Health Advisors. We then helped them understand the great responsibility they had in coaching their clients and helping them to succeed. We support our clients by making phone calls, sending out letters and e-mails. We also encourage them to take advantage of the new and exciting training tools because this will not only help their business but will increase the effectiveness of their teaching.

We try to present the program in a very positive and enthusiastic manner. Clients seem to pick up on our excitement and are willing to join the program. We believe our success has come from paying close attention to the needs of our clients and following up on their progress. One of the benefits of follow through is establishing a rapport that demonstrates a genuine concern for their health and success.

It has been two years now and we are now National Directors. We recognize that without our Team we wouldn’t have achieved this goal. The enthusiasm from our Health Advisors has certainly been an inspiration. The support of our up-line has helped us to become successful and grow our business with incredible momentum. Having our clients and Health Advisors take full advantage of the nurse’s support calls, maintenance support calls, physician’s support calls and field leadership calls have been instrumental in the growth of our business.

Register to become a Health Coach by purchasing an Application Pak ($99) or a Career Builder’s Pak ($299). The Application Pak contains everything you’§Åll need to get started in your Take Shape For Life business, including business-building tools, marketing materials, order forms and more. The Career Builder’s Pak (for serious business builders) contains additional tools to give a new Health Coach a faster start in his or her business. Those who purchase the Career Builder’s Pak are called Fast-Track Health Coaches.

Once registered (and with the support of your sponsor) you can immediately begin to recommend Take Shape For Life products to others. You’§Åll have 30 days to complete the Basic Competency Exam developed by The Health Institute. This exam is mandatory, as all Health Coaches need to have a good understanding of the products they are recommending to clients. The exam is a simple open-book quiz that can be taken either online or by hard copy.

 

As a Health Coach, you will earn commissions of:

• 15% of the dollar amount purchased by personally acquired clients
• 15% of the dollar amount purchased by your personally sponsored Health Coaches

As a Fast-Track Health Coach, you will earn commissions of:

• 20% of the dollar amount purchased by clients
• 20% of the dollar amount purchased by your personally sponsored Health Coaches

There are no further requirements for additional courses or examinations. However, Health Coaches who wish to open additional channels to earn through Take Shape For Life by increasing their knowledge can do so by taking the Health Coach Certification Course developed exclusively for Take Shape For Life by The Health Institute. Most Health Coaches who are serious about building a large business opt to become Certified..

What Is Optimal Health?

For many people “health” means feeling good, achieving a certain weight or being free from ailments or illness. At Take Shape For Life, “health” and more importantly, Optimal Health, extends far beyond these common associations to include physical, mental, and even financial health.

Several aspects of your life have a positive effect on your health; the more apparent aspects being proper nutrition, regular exercise, and adequate sleep. Factors negatively affecting your health include stress, pressure, time constraints, and the lack of financial stability. Optimal Health can be achieved by adopting the positive aspects – and eliminating the negative aspects.

Optimal Health can be broken down into three critical areas of life:
